We are all busy with our daily lives and quilts can take a long time!
With the Stitch-by-Month Quilt Journey we are breaking up the work of the quilt.
Each month we will create one block. You choose if you do this Virtually or if you do this In Person at The Quilt Basket. This takes anywhere from 1 hour to 5 hours.
Everyone who is participating has the opportunity to get discounts on fabric or items needed to complete the quilt blocks each month through The Quilt Basket.
You can showcase your creation in our Private Facebook Group when you have completed it bringing the Virtual and In Person groups together to celebrate each other's amazing creations!

You will have lifetime access to the journey. Meaning, as long as this journey exists, you'll be able to access all of the information along with any future updates to the course, at no additional cost to you!
Not at all! This course is for those that have a passion for quilting and want to learn the foundational skills and different techniques you can use to create amazing quilts.
We will start right from the beginning, creating one quilt block each month. We will go over the materials needed, sizes and yardage of fabric, and any other items that may be needed. We will then learn how to create that specific block for the month.
Let me be completely honest with you - if you asked me this question a few months ago I probably would've said I wasn't too sure. That's because I wasn’t too sure if quilting was something that could truly be taught online, based on my own experiences.
Now? I'm confident that this course will provide an exceptional experience for you that is comparable, if not even better, than an in person group class! I'll record how to create each block in a way to ensure not a single step is missed, that you're never left wondering "wait how did she do that?" Better yet, you will be able to pause, rewind, and rewatch any section, anytime, from anywhere! You'll be able to go back to previous blocks to brush up on your skills or refresh your memory anytime!
The best part? You'll have access to an engaged & highly motivating Facebook group of quilters on the same journey as you. It's a safe place to share our blocks, ask questions and help each other grow and strive for our biggest goals. We will be doing one quilt block every month. You will have lifetime access to the journey and can complete it as your own pace! All the live Q&A sessions will be recorded so you can access them at any time.
This journey is designed in a way that you can implement and complete what you learn right away. Instead of having to try techniques on other fabrics, you can sew your block together using the techniques you learned all at one time. This way you're not spending too much extra time dedicated specifically to this journey, and instead this will give you practical experience with the various techniques.
Most definitely not! While there may be a few tools that you may need, what you have should suffice. You will need to purchase the fabric necessary for each block, however, the amount of fabric needed for all 13 months will be provided to you so you can plan accordingly.

Yes! I'll be available every other week during the live Q&A calls where you can ask questions ahead of time and I can answer them during the call.
